JACON 2007's Winter Wonderland Ball
Twas six months before JACON,
And all through the state
The otaku were gathering
And they will celebrate!
The staff at JACON is proud to present the 2007 Winter Wonderland Ball. This costumed/formal dance event is a chance to enjoy the holiday season with a distinct anime flair. Santa Claus meets Sailor Scouts as we present an evening of entertainment all for a good cause: attendees are encouraged to bring a small unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots. Doing so will even get you a discount on admission!
It’s better to give than to receive… so we’d like to give back to you! Everyone who attends will have a chance to open one of the wrapped gifts under the JACON Christmas tree at the dance. Prizes include convention passes, DVDs, and more!
We’ll also have a costume contest during the event… details coming soon!

What to Expect
- TWO DJS! Operator 7G and Wasabi Anime’s Elite Beat Agent (from Otaku Insomnia) with both be on hand spinning house and holiday tunes!
- FOOD! Heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks are included with admission.
- CONTESTS! Win fabulous prizes and more.
- ZANINESS! Will ensue. We promise.

Dress Code
Like the title suggests, this is a formal ball. (As formal as an “anime” event can be.) We request that you do not wear denim (jeans) or sneakers. If you’re not sure about what you plan to wear, please email contact@jacon.org for clarification.
