Shift Schedules!!!
The Volunteer Coordinator will be e-mailing shift assignments to everyone between now and Saturday, May 10th. As soon as you receive your assignments, please reply so that we know that you have reviewed your shifts and that there are no problems. If there is some conflict with the times that you have been assigned to work, please let us know immediately. The sooner that you ask for a schedule shift, the more likely it is that we will be able to accommodate it. If you have signed up via the website and have not received scheduling information by midnight May 10th, 2008 please e-mail the Volunteer Coordinator at volunteers@jacon.org. Thank you all for volunteering and we're looking forward to a great convention this year!
Volunteer Orientations
JACON will have 3 Volunteer Orientation Meetings at the convention hotel so that you our volunteers can meet the people you will be working with and so that you can learn the layout of the convention center before JACON. We don't want you to get lost while trying to help direct people to where they want to go :-)
The Third Volunteer Orientation Meeting
Will be held on Thursday May 15th at 7:00 PM. This meeting should take no more than 1 hour and will include a walk-through of the convention hotel. Please be on time.

The Second Volunteer Orientation Meeting
Will be held on Saturday May 3rd at 2 PM. This meeting should take no more than 2 hours and will include a walk-through of the convention hotel. Please be on time.

The First Volunteer Orientation Meeting
Will be held on Saturday April 5th at 2 PM. This meeting should take no more than 2 hours and will include a walk-through of the convention hotel. Please be on time.

Remember that this is only the first of three meetings and that volunteers only need to attend one of the meetings.
